The questions you'd actually ask.

Straight answers, no marketing. If yours isn't here, ask it on the call — we don't dodge.

What happens to our data?

It stays yours. We don't train AI models on your information, and we don't share it with anyone. Where AI services are involved (e.g. an LLM provider), we use enterprise-grade APIs configured to forbid training on submitted content. The full data flow is documented in writing for every project, before anything is built.

Who owns what we build?

That's your call. If you want the source code and a licence to take it elsewhere, we'll add that to your quote — you own it outright, no licensing trap, no per-user fees. Equally, if you'd rather we host, maintain and support it for you, we'll wrap it in an SLA so you know exactly what you're getting and what it costs. Either way, no lock-in: the choice stays yours.

What if it goes wrong after launch?

We don't disappear after delivery. Every project includes a defined support period, and beyond that we offer monthly support arrangements. If something breaks because of how it was built, we fix it. If something breaks because the world changed (a third-party API shifted, a supplier changed format), we'll tell you what's involved and quote it honestly.

What does it cost?

Less than you'd expect — and less than it used to. AI has streamlined how we deliver too: you still get the experience and the judgement of a business analyst, designer and developer who's been doing this for years, but the hours of pure code-writing are dramatically lower. Two things follow from that.

First, the small jobs that never got past "we should really do that one day" are now genuinely affordable. Second, on the larger projects, think roughly half what you'd have been quoted previously, delivered in much shorter timescales — without compromising on quality, expertise, or after-sales support.

Where we can, our proposals include an expected ROI so you can see the payback before you commit. The first call is free and won't end with a price tag attached.

How long does it take?

The work itself is now measured in days or weeks — not weeks or months. AI has cut the slow part (writing the code) down to a fraction of what it used to be, so what would once have been a quarter-long project is often a fortnight's work. You get a real timeline at scope-stage, broken into checkpoints you can see — not a single far-off deadline.

What if AI gets it wrong?

Then we catch it long before it goes anywhere near your business. Every build is tested by a person end-to-end before it reaches you, and every AI-led process is designed with the human in the loop where it matters — reviewing drafts, approving exceptions, signing off on anything that touches money or a customer. AI handles the volume; the person handles the judgement.

Will it work with the systems we already have?

Almost certainly. Over the years we've worked with owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and major UK high-street names (past and present) — connecting to most of the mainstream packages along the way: accounting (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks), eCommerce (Shopify, Amazon, eBay), CRMs, ERPs, and just about anything with an API.

Where there's no API — including unsupported legacy systems — we've connected via EDI, direct database access, Excel, PDFs, CSVs, XML, email, file watchers and browser automation. Too many channels to list. If your system genuinely can't be reached, we'll tell you up front.

Do we have to commit to anything to find out more?

No. The first conversation is free, no obligation, no pressure. If we're not the right fit — or if an off-the-shelf tool would solve your problem better — we'll say so. Our reputation and integrity are more valuable than any single project.

Got a question that isn't here?

Ask it. We'll answer honestly, on the call or by email.
